MEMBERS BOWLS
The New Farm “Lightning” is a current Division 1 Club with many state and Premier Sevens players amongst the ranks. We have 2 other divisions in 5 and 7, so there will be a level to suit all bowlers. If you’re interested in playing Bowls or finding out more about what the game of Bowls has to offer then New Farm Bowls Club is the right place to start. Just pop in and ask for the Bowls Coordinator who will start you off. We are an affiliated member of Bowls Qld and Brisbane District Bowls Association and our teams compete in all the Bowls Qld and BDBA pennants competitions and BQ and BDBA sanctioned Club events. Whilst we draw our members from surrounding areas, we welcome members from all across Brisbane. Our Club is located within easy distance of Bus and Ferry public transport.
The Club also has a weekly members competition every Wednesday at 9.30am – 1.00pm. This is an ideal platform to learn the game and meet passionate members who are happy to assist new bowlers. Bowls is an excellent activity that encourages a competitive but friendly activity for all age groups, along with good social interaction.
For full members, there is an annual membership fee of $100 which includes all Bowls Qld and BDBA affiliation fees and provides members access at any time for practice roll-ups and individually arranged games.
It’s easy to become a member. Please call John Cameron, Club Secretary on 0418 741 078 or email nfbcbowlscoord@gmail.com to find out more details, or simply download the membership application from the link below, email it to us and we’ll do the rest.
