Welcome to New Farm Bowls Club, home of the mighty New Farm Lightning!
We are a proud Division 1 Pennant winning side. While we enjoy bowling at the highest level, we have 4 divisions here bowling all year. We cater to all levels from National reps to absolute beginners. We can organise coaching and welcome barefoot bowls enthusiasts.
Our Club chef Craig Wright of Shortgrass restaurant will pleasantly surprise you with his culinary skills and specialises in party and corporate events. We can cater from 2-250. Call Rick our experienced Manager for a chat about your next function or pop in for an ice cold craft beer. Centrally located, opposite New Farm Park on a Brunswick Street, we look forward to seeing you soon.

MEMBERS BOWLS
New Farm Bowls Club is always keen to attract new members and can offer membership options for bowlers of all ages. If you are interested in playing Bowls or finding out more about what the game of Bowls has to offer then New Farm Bowls Club is the right place to start. We do have two membership categories Full Membership and Social membership.
Full Membership is open to members who wish to participate in regular bowls whereas our social membership category is open to only those who wish to attend the club for barefoot bowls or social activities such as our weekly Trivia night each Wednesday. For information on our social membership please select Social Membership from the menu options. Full membership inclusions are shown below.
For full members, there is an annual membership fee of $120 which includes all Bowls Qld and BDBA affiliation fees and provides members access at any time for practice roll-ups and individually arranged games. Please see all the information below for details and benefits of Full membership.

New Farm is a great place to play your bowls and to meet good people and good bowlers. The Club has a proud history of bowls going as far back as 1907.
Today, the Club offers high quality greens and strong competition from our men’s and ladies bowlers. Weekly bowls activities are centred on our Wednesday morning (9.30 start) social bowls competition. Championship events - New Farm offers many Club Championship events throughout the year that are usually held on a Saturday.

NFBC is more than just a Bowls Club. It is a Community Club that also hosts a number of Community Events and Functions. There are a number of benefits in becoming a Social Member:

Enjoy a roll up at any time when the greens are available at no cost to the social member
Other Information
Social Members are not eligible to play in Club championship events, pennants or carnivals which are for affiliated, full bowls members.
Social Members are not entitled to hold any office in the Club; take part in Club meetings; vote at Club meetings; nominate persons to membership of the Club.

Casual neat clothing.
